Teamsters, Basic Crafts, and AMPTP Reach a Tentative Deal

Hollywood Teamsters and four other Basic Crafts Unions have reached a tentative agreement with producers on a three-year successor deal to the Basic Agreement just before midnight on Saturday, July 27th.

Details have yet to be made public, but after the producer's Last, Best, and Final offer on Friday, the unions returned a counterproposal on Saturday that they felt would get the necessary ratification vote from their membership. Union membership meetings to discuss the agreement details are being held in the coming days.

Here's hoping for a quick and smooth ratification.
